This course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to prevent fire risks, respond effectively in emergencies, and support safe evacuation. Learners gain a clear understanding of fire hazards, fire prevention measures, emergency procedures, and the use of basic firefighting equipment—preparing them to act confidently as Fire Wardens/Marshals in the workplace.

A designated fire warden/marshal plays a prominent role in fire safety. Typically they work together with employers and ensure effective fire safety measures and evacuation procedures.This course is best for anyone in or planning for the role of a fire warden/marshal in their workplace and has the responsibility to guide others during a fire. Enrolling in this course enables individuals to have the right expertise in becoming responsible persons to effectively tackle and maintain fire safety. Upon completing this training, the participants will have proficiency in how fires start, potential fire risks, use and operating a fire extinguisher, fire prevention and preparedness. This course also includes a Fire Safety Awareness course. Hence, Fire Wardens/Marshals don’t have to take both courses.
This course is best for anyone in a fire warden (fire marshal) role in the workplace. No prior requirement is needed and anyone at any level can enrol in this course.
